The three-storey building with gable roof and gable was built before 1601 by the patrician family Brock von Weißenberg in its present form. Emperor Rudolf II confirmed their coat of arms in 1601 and they were henceforth allowed to call themselves "von Weißenberg". Before 1663, the estate passed to the Feldkirch burgher family Mahler, who also called themselves "von Weißenberg". In 1740, Colonel Salomon Sprecher von Bernegg acquired the estate from the Mahler heirs. In the later 18th century, the Barons von Salis from Graubünden were the owners of the castle. Since 1802, the complex, which is visible from afar and consists of a residential building and farm buildings, has been owned by the middle classes and farmers. In the 20th century, the manor house was used as a convalescent home. It was restored on the outside in 1971 and on the inside in 1975/76. Today it is used for private residential purposes and cannot be visited.
